Quick bedding change-up for Fall

This past weekend, I changed the duvet covers and pillow shams on our bed to something a little darker in color and a little warmer for fall and winter.  Previously, we had a plain white duvet cover for the bottom layer, and this duvet cover from Pottery Barn for the top layer.  I still love this bedding but it was feeling too summery for me recently with the colder weather starting.  I will definitely switch back to it for the spring and summer!

For quite awhile, I had been eyeing this bedding, also from Pottery Barn.  After months of looking at it online and in the catalog, I stopped by the store to see if they had it in stock.  They did, so i bought the duvet cover and two standard shams.  I also bought this duvet cover for the bottom layer (we sleep with two down comforters).  I am very happy with the decision!  It is similar to the old bedding so it goes with the color scheme we already have in the room, but I definitely like this look for fall and winter.
